Dr. Kelsey Willis

Emergency Veterinarian

DVM, Don Low Fellowship 2024-25 (neurology)

Dr. Willis grew up in Turlock and wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. She grew up on an almond orchard and always had livestock and pets.

For college, she went to the University of Idaho, where she met her husband and moved to the Midwest after graduation. After completing veterinary school at Ohio State, she completed a specialty internship with an emphasis in emergency and critical care medicine at Michigan State. She loves emergency medicine because she is able to help patients and owners through the unexpected and urgent medical needs. It is so fulfilling for her to see a patient leave the hospital who was critical at presentation.

Dr. Willis joined OVG full time in the spring of 2023. When she is not working, Dr. Willis enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and farming.
